Cacao Artesanos sell pure cacao paste – a delicious, superfood alternative to coffee. They required packaging labels and additional brand assets to launch their exciting new product onto the market.
It was important that the pack design reflect Cacao Artesanos’ earth conscious and sustainable ethos. The pouches are fully compostable and biodegradable. The designs have a handdrawn artisan style, particularly with the beautiful watercolour mug illustration by Emma Dibben. I created simple icons and messages to highlight key information. The roundels and line work echo the logo style, while the colour palette is raw and natural - with small hints of red, green and orange to reflect the beautiful cacao pods in their natural state.
